Cookie Policy

Cookies we set
This site sets one cookie, and only for Zamanos staff. When a member of staff signs in to the order dashboard, a cookie called zamanos_admin keeps them signed in for 12 hours. It holds a signed token, not the password, and the dashboard cannot work without it. If you are a customer, this site never gives you a cookie.
Your basket
When you add food to your basket we save it in your browser's local storage, under the name zamanos_cart_v1, so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out. It is cleared when your order is paid, and you can clear it yourself at any time by emptying the basket or clearing your browser data.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, phone taps and orders. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage. Our privacy policy explains what it records.
Other companies' cookies
Card payments are taken on Stripe's own checkout page, which sets Stripe's cookies under Stripe's cookie policy. The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies inside that map under Google's privacy policy. The map only loads when you press Show map, so until you ask for it you see our address and a directions link instead and nothing is loaded from Google.
Why there is no cookie banner
We show no cookie banner because this site itself sets nothing that is not essential: no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies of any kind. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked before anything non-essential is set.
